Grades 1st–4th

  • Registration: September 1 – September 27, or until spots fill up
  • 1st/2nd Grade Evaluations & Draft: October 3 at 3:00 PM
  • 3rd/4th Grade Evaluations & Draft: October 3 at 5:30 PM
  • Practices Begin: October 12, Monday–Friday, beginning at 6:00 PM

Game Weekends

  • December: 5 & 6, 12 & 13
  • January: 9 & 10, 16 & 17, 23 & 24, 30 & 31
  • February: 6 & 7, 13 & 14

Tournament Weekend: February 18–21

Tournament Make-Up Weekend: February 25–28

All evaluations, practices, Kindergarten sessions, and games are held at Cheat Lake Elementary School.

About Cheat Lake Youth Basketball

The Cheat Lake Youth Basketball League is a volunteer-run community program where kids learn the game of basketball while having fun with friends and classmates. As a recreational league, our focus is on teaching fundamentals, promoting good sportsmanship, and creating a positive experience. We believe that when kids enjoy the game early on, they’re more likely to keep playing and growing as athletes.
